Following 18 months of planning, preparation and training The Marathon Men 2013 have started their challenge to run 12 marathons in 12 days to raise money for The Mersea Island Festival.

“We’ve decided that we wanted to complete a challenge that’s going to stretch us to breaking point (something bizarrely that we both have said we’ve always wanted to do!) and run from Land’s End to Trafalgar Square in London over 12 days averaging a marathon a day.”

“Whilst doing this, our main goal is to raise money for The Mersea Island Festival. An annual festival that offers over 400 young people with and without disabilities the chance to make new friends, enjoy a range of activities and have an awesome time. Our knowledge of the festival comes through a close friend of Tom, Callum. Callum is a 17 year old who has Lesch Nyhan syndrome. This is an extremely rare condition affecting approximately 1 in 380,000 people”.

Good luck guys!

The guys have been training with Herbalife 24 Nutrition and the 24 Fit Workout DVDS.
